Kids Spring Semester
Kids classes are designed for anyone ages 9 and up. Students will learn a variety of basic sewing skills and build up to more complex skills as the weeks go on. Besides new sewing abilities, your child will come away with independent management skills and a great sense of accomplishment!
If your child has previously taken classes with us, they can pick up where they left off and continue forward. If they are brand new sewers, we will teach them the basics right from the beginning! Each student will work at their own pace with support and encouragement from our team. They will pass off a graduated list of skills designed to help them build their confidence and sewing ability.
Supplies and materials are now include in the registration price- no more need to send Cash or Venmo for new projects!

No classes will be held March 9-20 for Spring Break

Advanced Teen Workshops
These workshops are the perfect next step for your teenaged student who is ready to move into more advanced sewing, including clothing construction. Students will take a series of 6-week classes to utilize the skills they’ve previously learned and springboard them into more advanced projects. Class sizes will be smaller to allow for more intense instruction from our master teachers. We’ll learn to use a serger, make buttonholes, add zippers, make quilts, and more!
Workshops are Wednesday afternoons, 90 minutes, 6 weeks long, and each requires a separate registration. Each workshop will feature a different custom project. Students need to be about 14 years or older, and have taken lessons for 2 or more semesters. Session 1- Reverse Applique Sweatshirt AND Zippered Shoulder Bag
This session will feature two projects! First, a trendy reverse applique sweatshirt will feature a design custom made by each student. Next, a cute carry-all bag will be fully lined and feature pockets, snaps, and a zipper- great skills for students to learn!
Jan 21, 28, Feb 4, 11, 18, 25 | 4:00 - 5:30 pm | $225 | Students will supply a plain colored sweatshirt for this project, all other materials will be provided
Session 2- Memory Bear
Students will make an adorable keepsake bear they can keep, give away, or save for a family heirloom. It will be made from student-supplied fabrics with sentimental value, such as baby clothes, clothing from loved ones, or even sports jerseys.
